Min str\u00e4van efter sj\u00e4lvf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjning av livsmedel kommer fr\u00e5n flera olika h\u00e5lla. Givetvis \u00e4r det en n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndighet om man vill klara sig l\u00e4ngre \u00e4n man har konserver p\u00e5 hyllan, men det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 en grundsten om man str\u00e4var efter att g\u00e5 off-the-grid och bli sj\u00e4lvf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjande.<br \/>\nS\u00e5 hur mycket mat m\u00e5ste produceras f\u00f6r en m\u00e4nniska ska kunna leva p\u00e5 det under ett \u00e5r? Till att b\u00f6rja med m\u00e5ste man ta reda p\u00e5 hur mycket energi sagd m\u00e4nniska beh\u00f6ver per dag. D\u00e5 denna utr\u00e4kning kommer vara till f\u00f6r mig \u00e4r det bara rimligt att jag utg\u00e5r fr\u00e5n mitt eget energibehov som \u00e4r ca 2500 kcal per dygn. Detta \u00e4r samma antal kalorier jag r\u00e4knar med i min inventeringslista, s\u00e5 det h\u00e5ller det hela konsekvent.<br \/>\nN\u00e4sta steg \u00e4r att ta reda p\u00e5 vad jag kan och vill producera, samt hur mycket kalorier dessa r\u00e5varor ger per 100 gram. Som vanligt beror det p\u00e5 en massa olika faktorer, men jag m\u00e5ste ju g\u00e5 p\u00e5 n\u00e5gonting. Vad jag kan l\u00e4sa mig till \u00e4r slaktvikten p\u00e5 en get 10-12 kg varav 25-30 % \u00e4r ben. H\u00e4r r\u00e4knar jag med runt 7,5 kg k\u00f6tt per djur. F\u00f6r en kyckling\/h\u00f6na 0,5 kg k\u00f6tt och f\u00f6r en kanin ca 1,3 kg. Kaniner och kycklingar har jag i alla fall egen erfarenhet av vad det genererar i k\u00f6ttproduktion.<br \/>\nS\u00e5 l\u00e5ng allt v\u00e4l. D\u00e5 \u00e5terst\u00e5r att komponera lite m\u00e5ltider av dessa r\u00e5varor. F\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla det hela enkelt best\u00e5r dessa av tre grytor och en frukost.
